VINCI is a multinational construction company. Founded in France in 1899, it’s now a global leader in construction and digital construction technology. VINCI comprises multiple companies across the UK, Africa, the Americas and Australia.

Why did they choose us?

We’d already established a relationship with VINCI by producing their live events, so event video production was a natural progression.

However, it didn’t stop there. Over the years, they’ve come to us for virtually every type of video production — from brand storytelling and e-learning video filmed at our video studio to drone filming at large construction sites.

We’re highlighting a few of these projects here. Let’s start with event video production.

 

Event video production

Each year, VINCI hosts the World Innovation and Creativity Day. It’s a live event where creatives and inventors showcase an assortment of low-carbon materials and equipment, robots and AI-powered processes.

But here’s the thing:

With hundreds of people in the audience, how can everyone get a good view of all the new inventions?

This is where our live video production skills come into their own. We always set up a live camera relay. As the interviewer moves around, seeing products in action, the footage is live-streamed to the audience watching on the big screen. Everyone has a close-up view.

After each event, we edit the footage into short videos. VINCI gets a wealth of content which keeps the event alive long after the doors have closed.

Brand storytelling

We’ve made many brand storytelling videos for VINCI, including powerful stories about suicide and mental health awareness. These issues are important for everyone, not least those in the construction industry.

We used actors for these videos. Their scripts were based on the lived experience of VINCI’s own employees — moving, honest stories about losing loved ones to suicide, and their own mental health struggles.

These stories had a huge impact — so much so that we made a follow-up video about the positive difference they’d made. Employees now speak more openly about their mental health.

Why does VINCI like working with us?

1. Having established a relationship, less pre-production time is needed. We already understand their brand voice, messaging and brand guidelines so the process is both quick and cost-effective.
